Press Kit – Jeffrey Page

Emmy Award nominated choreographer, Jeffrey Page, contacted Suuru Design Company to design his press kit. Page was looking for contemporary design elements presented in the simplest fashion that would best showcase his work.

Jeffrey Page has choreographed for Beyonce Knowles, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Jazmine Sullivan. His work has also been featured on the MTV Video Music Awards, World Music Awards, BET Awards, and Fashion Rocks. He has worked with Cirque Du Soleil and Alvin Ailey, and he was recently a resident choreographer on Fox’s hit reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Donald Clytus City Official

When Don Clytus decided to run for Inglewood City Council, he hired Suuru for his campaign materials. During the process, he pretty much let us run amok. He wasn’t sure which way he wanted to go for the design, and that was okay. When a client isn’t able to offer suggestions or ideas, Suuru is capable of taking the job and running with it.

Bosten Chiropractic

Bosten Chiropractic needed to introduce a promotion. They contacted Suuru to design a flyer to be posted in their office. They liked the first draft!

SCLARC

South Central Los Angeles Regional Center for Persons with Developmental Disabilities, Inc. (SCLARC) is a private, non-profit, community based organization which contracts with the State Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

They contacted Suuru to design their 35th anniversary logo. We presented the client with five options and they chose the final. They were so happy with it the put it on cake!

Brownstone Magazine

Through positive representation, Brownstone strives to honor the historical legacy of women of color and empower girls to embrace their beauty and authentic selves.

Suuru was very enthusiastic about helping this start-up online magazine develop the branding that would reach their demographic. We presented Brownstone with several logo options and collaborated with them to determine a final logo. Their team was very fun to work with.

Lula Washington Dance Theatre

Lula Washington Dance Theatre (LWDT) is a Non-Profit Arts organization founded in 1980 by Lula and Erwin Washington to provide a creative outlet for dance artists in Los Angeles. Through public performances and community outreach, they seek to build bridges between people of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.

Suuru worked closely with LWDT in creating a DVD label that would leave a lasting impression with presenters at theaters all over the world. The process included a thorough analysis of desired goals as well as a coherent design meant to reinforce their existing brand
